We’re old

Falling apart;

We’re dying

From Covid;

The truth

Is passe;

The lie

The thing;

Our government

Under attack;

Our democracy

At risk;

Our world

Is burning;

Climate changing

Here now;

We still mourn

For a lost son;

     but 

It’s a boy!

And life is good

Once again.
