The Last Wall

The second Threat of Angeals trilogy- Angeals Return- reaches a stunning climax in 3rd book- The Last Wall. The forces fighting for control of Terra finally clash.

Governor/General Gaius Suetonius Paulinus leads his legions across Britania, determined to wipe out the Druid faith. He has been directed to do so by the mad Nero. The General is driven forward by Nero’s chief councilor, Ash Knebe.

Knebe is also known as The Bas Crulach, the High Priest of Graxas, and the leader of the murderous forces of the Dark Angeal, Dorchada. Crulach has summoned his eternal twelve captains to facilitate the slaughter of the Druids. Unknown to Nero and General Paulinus , Crulach’s primary objective is the destruction of the Four and he is using the Roman army and their mission to destroy the Druids as a clever disguise for his real goal- the destruction of the Four.

The Four, selected by the four Angeals of Light, are tasked with preserving what is good on Terra, which includes the Druids and their faith. The Four, The Warrior, Scientor, Poet and Priest know Crulach is on his way, but they are not as organized as they have been in the past, and they do not have a sufficient army to fight the Roman threat.

The spirit of Terra, Mother Earth, knows that she is in danger of losing her planet, whether the forces of light or Dark become victorious. She creates her own army to defend her position and breaks her own rules by bringing back the dead and buried.

Her “daughter” Celine, once human but no more, becomes estranged from Mother, even though she saved Mother during the first Battle for Terra on the Island nation of Athlan thousands and thousands of years before. Celine knows another contest for Athlan is approaching quickly, but she has no allies to help her defeat whoever she must defeat. However, she is determined to save Mother, Terra, the Druids and as many of the Four as she can. Hers is the most difficult task.

From Caledonia in the far North of Britannia, a group of warrior monks travels south, led by their new Abbess, Feare. She is a woman who leads men on a quest inspired by nothing more than a compulsive urge to travel south. She doesn’t know where, nor does she know why. None-the-less, The Warriors of the One True God follow Feare into the unknown.

The Last Wall brings the forces of good and evil together for control of Terra. The outcome of the expected bloodbath is in doubt, but the forces of Darkness are in the ascendency.
